The images released overnight reveal a couple expertly and cleverly extracting themselves from the archaic maw of an institution vainly trying to cling to some semblance of relevance. Harry and Meghan seem to have a clear and definitive idea of where they want to go and how they want to peddle their considerable influence. They are forging their own identity and brand, independent of the strictures and hoary precedents that run Windsor life. There is one thing we do know for sure right now: It is going to be fascinating, and very enjoyable, to watch Harry and Meghan over the coming months and years.

It was such a sweet story and was such a breathe of fresh air from some other books I have been trying to read lately. I am so sick of all the misunderstanding between the hero and heroine and it was so nice to read a story without all that tension. Looking forward to reading more by this author. A cute heartwarming novella that was a quick read at only seventy six pages.
Set in the English countryside there was a nice plot, story and characters. Considering Adam and Victoria just met along with his son, Harry, and her daughter, Sophie, they all had an immediate bond. I loved the adult interactions between the characters - adult to adult, adult to child and child to child. I loved the details about the hedgehog rescues and how the characters bonded over them. There was a nice flow to the A cute heartwarming novella that was a quick read at only seventy six pages.
There was a nice flow to the story and lots of details that were vivid in their descriptions. The epilogue tied up loose ends and gave me the happily ever after I hoped for. I haven't read books by Ms. Taylor before but will be giving some of her others a try and hoping for a little longer length but the same heartwarming feel. Nov 11, Terisa rated it liked it. This was the third book in the box set called Love Is All Around and was by far the best of the three but still falls short of being great.
This book was really short story that only took me about an hour to read. The characters Victoria, Adam and their two children Harry and Sophie were all easily likeable and the story line while somewhat unconventional was sweet. Victoria lives in a small cottage with her eight year old daughter Sophie.
A task that she has taken on is helping injured hedgehogs This was the third book in the box set called Love Is All Around and was by far the best of the three but still falls short of being great. A task that she has taken on is helping injured hedgehogs. The villagers in the small town call her when they come across injured or orphaned hedgehogs, she and Sophie nurse them back to health and then lets them go back into the wild in boxes at a neighboring property. Adam has bought the neighboring land and plans to develop it but had no clue of the arrangement that Victoria had with the past owner.
He arrives with his ten year old son Harry and they meet Victoria and Sophie while touring the property. Together they work to find a solution for the hedgehogs and find themselves falling for each other but because Adam travels a lot doesn't want to pursue a relationship. Harry though is tired of traveling and now that he's found a friend, he's decided that he no longer wants to travel around with his dad and takes matters not his own hands. Jan 23, Louise rated it liked it Shelves: didn-t-love-didn-t-hate , romance.
Adam is the father of Harry. Adam builds houses, and Harry has a passion for photography. Adam recently bought a manor house neighboring the heroines, and is converting it to apartments and building more houses on the land. Victoria, our heroine is the mother of Sophie, Victoria is a former wildlife camerawoman, and now teaches at a local college, but her true passion is hedgehogs this is the story of two single parents, conveniently devoid of x-partners to play a role in their children's lives.
Victoria, our heroine is the mother of Sophie, Victoria is a former wildlife camerawoman, and now teaches at a local college, but her true passion is hedgehogs. She rescues hedgehogs that have been injured and nurses them back to health. Then she releases them on the grounds belonging to the manor. The plot is basically, Adam and Sophie must find a new place for all the hedgehogs Sophie has released at the manor, before Adam begins building. Oh, and there is romance of course. This was neither the best nor the worst I have read.

There is a great deal of realism missing, and everything ties up too neatly with very little exertion by the characters. I must admit to some eyerolling along the way. Feb 02, Mimi Barbour rated it it was amazing. Adam has bought Larchfield Hall as a property to be developed and so he takes his son with him to visit the land. Very soon, he finds out that he has a major problem. Victoria and her daughter Sophie have used the property as a reserve for their orphaned hedgehogs. And at the moment there were about 30 of them being housed all around the area.

Even the caring neighbours know who to turn to when they have an injured hedgehog. Jan 13, Milou Koenings rated it it was amazing.
A gentle, lovely story. I read it in one sitting, thoroughly enjoying the English-countryside pace. I love characters who are good people striving to be better, especially when they put their children first. There was no real bad guy here, nor nasty conflicts - just people trying to work out difficult situations in ways that could work for everyone. I confess I teared up at the ending. And the hedgehogs? Definitely an adorable plus! As someone else in this thread mentioned, I, too, would like to A gentle, lovely story. As someone else in this thread mentioned, I, too, would like to read more about Felicity, her father and the grandmother.
They were minor characters in this book, but there's definitely an interesting story there! Jan 27, Anita rated it liked it. Hedgehogs survival brought them together. Finding new homes for all her healed animals made this building renovation project different from all others. Harry realized the desire to settle and have a family before his father. Did his father continue to work properties all over the world, or did he shift his focus and remain closer to home?
I would like to see a story featuring Felicity, farmer Andrews, and Victoria's grandmother. Perhaps a third when the tutor settles in the area and teaches st t Hedgehogs survival brought them together. Perhaps a third when the tutor settles in the area and teaches st the local school?

To be honest, she delivers a softer and gentler world and it's a place where the reader doesn't want to end! The jet-setting dad and son seem to have the perfect life. They are rich in monetary means and have seen much of the world.
