If your entry has a URL, you will be given a chance to enter the address after choosing a category. If you need to upload a file, you will be prompted to do so after checkout. You can abandon and return to the entry system at any time without losing any of your work. Since each entry is judged on its own merits, in most cases, no accompanying materials or explanations are necessary. For categories involving Campaigns or Strategic Programs, you need to upload your work product and a brief overview of what you did.

An entry fee is required for each category in which an entry is submitted. Each entry will have a box for permission to display the entry file in the winners list, gallery and social media.

If permission is not granted, the file or link will only be seen by the judges. The competition is open to all individuals, companies and organizations involved in producing any kind of marketing and communication materials for external or internal audiences. To be eligible, an entry must have been produced after January 1, a 2-year window. If a piece is entered in more than one category, please enclose an additional entry fee for each time it is entered.
AMCP does not charge for entries produced pro bono for outside nonprofits. AMCP recognizes the talents and generosity of the creative community and does not charge for entries produced pro bono for outside nonprofits.
Only entrants who enter a regular piece in the competition are eligible to enter pro bono work at no cost. This is a perk for those who help defray costs of overhead, mailings, judging etc. You can have up to five pro bono clients. Multiple pieces count as one entry. You can however have an unlimited number of pro bono clients.
To be truly successful, business owner should have a long-term mentality , with an idea of where they want to be in a few years. A good small business advisor will understand that and strive to help business owners not only identify those goals, but set smaller goals to help them stay on track. Search for small business advisors that have successfully helped small business owners create business plans, land investment dollars, and plot out their long-term plans.
As you speak with potential advisors, ask how they'll help you set long-term goals and listen for indications that they place an emphasis on long-term planning.

Since you'll likely only have an advisor for a short time, it's important to create a base that you can build off of as you try to plan on your own in the upcoming years. Perhaps the most important quality of all in a small business advisor is a similar value system. If you prize integrity over "winning at all costs," an advisor who doesn't agree with that mentality will be a bad fit for you.
If you believe people come before profits, it's important to find an advisor who agrees with that way of thinking and helps you craft a business that helps people, with profits naturally following. That's not to say that an entrepreneur can't benefit from a different perspective. An advisor may think of directions for your business that never occurred to you.
